DESCRIPTION

Swedish Army M1909 Sheepskin Parka (JR188)

Genuine Swedish Army issue 'M1909' heavy weight winter coat. This parka is dated 1930, and is in overall good condition with no missing parts or alterations.

Condition:

This item is in very good condition for its age, with signs of wear typical of used military clothing; the outer canvas fabric is in very good condition with no damage, tears, holes, stains etc. The sheepskin lining is beginning to show signs of deterioration, discolouration, and breakdown which may require treatment and restoration. The centre-back panel of sheepskin is the most worn, due to being an area that receives a lot of stress, sweat, and abrasion.
