The Highlander Defender 450 Sleeping Bag is a premium four-season mummy sleeping bag built for cold-weather camping, bushcraft, military use and multi-day expeditions. Filled with 450g/m² double-layer siliconised hollow fibre insulation (40% siliconised hollow fibre and 60% polyester), the Defender 450 is engineered to trap body heat efficiently whilst continuing to perform in damp conditions where traditional down insulation can lose effectiveness. The durable 210T ripstop polyester outer shell features a water-repellent finish, helping to resist tent condensation and light moisture, while the soft 190T pongee lining provides excellent next-to-skin comfort for a warmer, more restful night's sleep.
Designed specifically for colder conditions, the Defender 450 features a fully adjustable thermal hood, a drawcord shoulder baffle and a full-length insulated zip baffle, all working together to minimise heat loss and eliminate cold spots. A wide foot box provides extra room around your feet for improved comfort, while the full-length two-way anti-snag zip allows easy ventilation when temperatures rise without compromising ease of use.
Practical features continue throughout the design, including an internal hook and loop security pocket for safely storing your phone or valuables, hanging loops for airing the sleeping bag after use and a compression stuff sack that significantly reduces the packed size for easier transportation. With generous dimensions of 225cm x 87cm x 60cm, a packed size of approximately 50cm x 25–27cm and a weight of 2.4kg, the Defender 450 is ideal for vehicle-supported camping, military exercises and cold-weather expeditions. It carries a comfort temperature of -1°C and a lower limit of -7°C, making it a dependable four-season sleeping bag for demanding outdoor use.
