US M1944 Dust, Sun and Wind Goggles

An original pair of vintage US Military M-1944 Dust, Sun & Wind Goggles, complete with additional spare lenses still retained in their original military packaging.

Introduced during the Second World War, the M-1944 was designed as a versatile set of protective goggles for American military personnel operating in a wide variety of environments.

The interchangeable lens system allowed different lenses to be fitted depending upon conditions, making the goggles suitable for protection against dust and wind as well as reducing glare from bright sunlight.

Condition

This particular set is in well-used / worn condition, but importantly retains its additional packaged lenses, making it an interesting and increasingly collectable piece of original US military equipment.

They show noticeable signs of age, previous use and long-term storage.

There is general deterioration and wear consistent with vintage military equipment of this age. The frame, strap, fitted lens and other components should all be carefully examined in the photographs for their exact condition.

The original spare-lens packaging also shows age and storage wear but importantly remains with the set.
