Issued:

Genuine ex-service British Army smocks in very good used condition. These garments have previously been issued and may show normal signs of military use including light marks, fading, minor discolouration, identification markings and general cosmetic wear.

Some garments may retain regimental patches, insignia or name tapes that were fitted during their service life.

Issued smocks are selected to ensure they remain serviceable, with no major tears, holes or broken or missing components that would prevent normal use.

Not-Issued:

Genuine British Army smocks that have not been issued or worn.

These are supplied in excellent unused condition with no service wear or alterations. Due to their age and long-term storage, minor storage marks or creasing may occasionally be present.

Some examples may still be supplied with their original Ministry of Defence packaging or contract labels.

Sizing:

British Army clothing uses a numerical military sizing system based on the wearer's height and chest measurement in centimetres.

For example:

170/96 = approximately 170cm wearer height / 96cm chest
180/104 = approximately 180cm wearer height / 104cm chest
190/112 = approximately 190cm wearer height / 112cm chest

The first number represents the recommended wearer height and the second number represents the chest measurement.

Combat smocks are intentionally cut generously to allow other clothing and equipment to be worn underneath. We recommend selecting your size using the military measurements rather than relying solely on your usual civilian jacket size.
