The Deerhunter Lady Gabby Smock is a technical women’s hunting smock designed to provide dependable protection during shooting, stalking and demanding countryside activities. Combining waterproof and windproof performance with a comfortable feminine fit, practical storage and useful ventilation features, it is an excellent alternative to a conventional full-length shooting jacket.

Constructed using Deerhunter’s Deer-Tex® Performance Shell membrane, the Lady Gabby provides waterproof, windproof and breathable protection for changeable outdoor conditions. Taped seams help provide complete weather protection, while the fabric carries a 5,000mm waterproof rating and 5,000g breathability rating.

The outer fabric is also water repellent and designed to cope with rough countryside environments. Its thorn-resistant construction makes the smock particularly useful when stalking or walking through woodland, brambles and dense vegetation.

A detachable hood provides additional protection when the weather deteriorates and features a removable faux-fur trim, allowing the appearance and level of coverage to be adjusted to suit the conditions.

The centre front uses a durable YKK zip, while a long side zip makes the smock easier to pull on and remove. This is particularly useful with a longer pull-over hunting garment where access can otherwise be restrictive.

Storage has been carefully designed around shooting and countryside use. Two front pockets and two hand-warmer pockets all feature waterproof zips, providing secure storage while helping protect the contents in wet conditions. A dedicated radio pocket also incorporates a waterproof zip, reinforced antenna outlet and elastic antenna strap.

Pre-shaped elbows help improve freedom of movement when raising the arms, carrying equipment or moving through uneven terrain. The sleeve ends can be adjusted using straps and Velcro, while neoprene storm cuffs provide a closer seal around the wrists to help reduce the ingress of cold wind and rain.

An adjustable drawstring waist allows the smock to be pulled in for a more personalised and feminine fit. The rear is cut longer than the front to provide additional coverage when bending, sitting or moving outdoors.

Finished in Peat, the Lady Gabby Smock has a traditional countryside appearance that pairs easily with shooting trousers, Wellington boots and other Deerhunter clothing.
