The Highlander Cabar Wood Burning Stove is a compact, multi-fuel camping stove designed for backpacking, bushcraft, wild camping and expedition cooking. Constructed from durable stainless steel, the Highlander Cabar Stove is built to withstand repeated outdoor use while remaining lightweight at just 380g. The clever double-wall construction improves airflow and combustion efficiency, producing a hotter, cleaner burn and increasing fuel efficiency by up to 30% compared with conventional single-wall wood stoves. This means faster boil times and more effective use of naturally available fuel.
The stove is designed to burn a wide variety of fuels including foraged wood, twigs, charcoal, paper and solid fuel tablets. It even includes a solid fuel bowl, allowing you to use solid alcohol fuel as an alternative when natural fuel isn't available. A wide front fuel aperture makes it easy to add sticks and fuel while cooking without having to remove your pan, helping you maintain a consistent burn throughout meal preparation. Under ideal conditions, a single fuel load provides approximately 20 minutes of burn time, with water typically boiling in 10–20 minutes, depending on the fuel used.
Made up of five detachable components, the Cabar dismantles completely and nests inside itself for compact storage. It packs neatly into the supplied mesh carry bag, making it easy to slip into a backpack or cooking kit without taking up valuable space. Measuring just 8cm x 14cm when packed, it's an excellent choice for lightweight backpacking, survival kits and bushcraft expeditions.
