The hammock is manufactured from durable polyamide fabric and features an integrated ultra-fine mosquito net that keeps biting insects at bay while maintaining excellent airflow on warmer nights. Internal storage pockets provide a convenient place to keep essentials such as your torch, phone or valuables close to hand, while the suspended sleeping position helps you avoid wet, rocky or uneven ground for a more comfortable night's rest.
Providing reliable shelter from the elements, the included waterproof polyester tarpaulin features a 2000mm hydrostatic head, giving dependable protection during wet weather. The tarp pitches above the hammock to create a covered sleeping area while maintaining good ventilation, making it ideal for use in woodland, on trekking expeditions or during extended bushcraft trips. By sleeping above the ground, the system also helps minimise your impact on the environment by following Leave No Trace principles.
The Crusader Hammock comes as a complete hanging system, including two webbing suspension straps, two karabiner clips, guy ropes, steel pegs and a bungee attachment for the mosquito net, allowing you to pitch the hammock in around five minutes. Measuring 275cm x 142cm, it comfortably accommodates one adult with a maximum load capacity of 110kg (17 stone). When packed away it compresses to approximately 32cm x 23cm x 12cm and weighs around 1.3kg, making it an excellent alternative to carrying a traditional tent on lightweight adventures.
