The Highlander Rayet 250 Mummy Sleeping Bag is a lightweight, high-performance sleeping bag designed to keep you warm and comfortable during camping trips, hiking expeditions, backpacking adventures and bushcraft weekends. Combining premium synthetic insulation with a thermally efficient mummy design, it's an excellent choice for spring, summer and early autumn camping when you need dependable warmth without unnecessary weight.
Filled with 250g/m² single-layer siliconised hollow fibre insulation (40% siliconised hollow fibre and 60% polyester), the Rayet 250 is designed to retain warmth even in damp conditions, making it an ideal alternative to down for the unpredictable British climate. The insulation quickly regains its loft after unpacking and continues to perform even if exposed to condensation inside your tent.
The durable 210T ripstop polyester outer shell features a water-repellent finish, helping to protect against light moisture and tent condensation, while the soft 190T pongee lining provides exceptional next-to-skin comfort. Its mummy-shaped design, together with the adjustable thermal hood and large shoulder baffle with drawcord, helps trap body heat efficiently, keeping you warmer throughout the night.
Designed for practicality as well as comfort, the Rayet 250 features a full-length two-way zip for easy access and adjustable ventilation, an internal security pocket for keeping valuables close by, and hanging loops for convenient airing and drying after use. Once packed away, the included compression stuff sack reduces the overall packed size, making it easier to carry on hiking and camping trips.
With a comfort rating of 6°C, a lower limit of 1°C, a weight of 1.45kg, dimensions of 220cm x 80cm x 50cm and a compact packed size of 38cm x 19cm, the Highlander Rayet 250 offers an excellent balance of warmth, comfort and portability. The temperature ratings have been independently tested to EN ISO 23537-1:2022, giving you confidence in its real-world performance.
