A variety of individual copies of The War Illustrated, dated between 1941 to 1947. All copies are original prints, published during the Second World War. Each issue contains an interesting array of exclusive photographs and articles relating to the progress of the war from all areas of the world.

Wonderful gift for collectors, or can be used in historical reenactment and living history displays.

The issues we have available span from Volume 4 (1941) to Volume 10 (1946-47) and cover crucial moments of WW2 military history including the Anzio Campaign, the Russian Invasion, the arrival of United States Army troops in Britain, the D-Day campaign, the aftermath of VE-Day, and the Nuremberg Trials.

Condition:

We have taken photographs of the cover of each issue so you can see exactly what you are going to receive when you order. Issues are generally complete with no missing pages, but in some rare cases, the issues may be missing one or two pages and you may wish to contact us prior to placing your order if you require specific pages and articles. There may be small tears and discolouration on the paper as you can see from the listing photographs; but the magazines are generally in good condition considering they are all around 80 years old!
