A genuine vintage pair of Royal Air Force Mk2A Foul Weather Trousers, supplied in Size Large.

Dating from the era of the RAF's Mk2A foul-weather clothing, these trousers were designed as a lightweight protective outer layer for personnel working in wet and adverse weather conditions.

Finished in the distinctive dark RAF navy blue, they form part of an increasingly difficult-to-find generation of British military foul-weather clothing which preceded the later Mk3 equipment.

This particular pair is in well-used condition with noticeable wear and is being offered primarily as an original vintage RAF collectable, restoration piece or inexpensive example of the Mk2A pattern.

These are foul-weather overtrousers, designed to be worn over other clothing, so the cut is naturally more generous than a conventional pair of trousers.

Condition

These trousers are in well-used condition and are not one of our better-condition surplus garments.

They show noticeable signs of previous military use, age and long-term storage and should be purchased with their condition firmly in mind.

There is general wear throughout and there may be areas of staining, marking, discolouration, deterioration, abrasion or other age-related defects.
