Vintage British Army Jerkin No.3 PVC – 1970s – Size 2

An original vintage British Army Jerkin No.3, dating from the 1970s and supplied in Size 2.

The No.3 Jerkin continued the traditional sleeveless British military jerkin design but, unlike the earlier leather versions associated with the Second World War period, this later pattern was manufactured using PVC-coated material.

Designed as a practical protective outer layer, the sleeveless construction allowed the jerkin to be worn over military clothing while retaining freedom of movement through the arms.

Condition

This is a genuine period British Army example showing considerable signs of age and previous service and is consequently being sold as a damaged collectable / restoration piece.

The jerkin shows considerable signs of previous military use, age and long-term storage.

Due to its age and condition, there may be areas of wear, cracking or deterioration to the PVC coating, marks, staining, discolouration, tears, damaged stitching or other age-related defects.
