British Army 80 Litre Deployment Bag
The British Army Black Deployment Holdall is a genuine military-surplus kit bag originally designed for transporting clothing and equipment during deployments and operational travel. Often referred to simply as the British Army “Black Bag”, it offers a generous approximate 80-litre capacity and a rugged construction suited to travel, camping, work equipment and general heavy-duty storage.
Unlike a conventional holdall, this versatile deployment bag can also be carried as a rucksack. Stowable shoulder straps allow the load to be carried on your back when travelling longer distances, while strong carrying handles provide a more traditional holdall option when loading the bag into vehicles, accommodation or storage.
The large main compartment provides plenty of room for clothing, boots, sleeping equipment and other bulky kit. A full-length zip gives straightforward access to the contents, making the bag much easier to pack and organise than a traditional top-loading military duffle bag.
