The Gateway1 Field Master 18" 3mm Wellington Boot is a rugged and supportive country boot designed for shooting, hunting, dog walking, farming and general outdoor use. Combining durable natural rubber with 3mm neoprene insulation and a supportive sole system, it is built for long days spent walking through wet fields, mud and uneven countryside terrain.
The tall 18-inch design provides excellent lower-leg coverage, helping protect against wet grass, mud and shallow water. Its Cedar Olive finish gives the boot a classic countryside appearance that works particularly well with shooting clothing, field wear and everyday outdoor kit.
The upper is made from vulcanised natural rubber, providing a strong yet flexible construction suited to demanding outdoor conditions. Reinforced Japan Rubber™ is used around the foot area, combining multiple layers of rubber with an internal reinforcing mesh for additional strength and protection.
Inside, the boot features Gateway1’s Coil Lining™ combined with 3mm neoprene. The neoprene provides lightweight insulation, while the specially developed lining helps move moisture away from the foot and leg during activity, improving comfort during longer periods of wear.
Underfoot, the Field-Sport™ outsole is designed specifically for countryside use. Its tread pattern provides dependable grip and stability across muddy tracks, wet fields and uneven ground, while the sole construction helps absorb shock and support natural movement when walking.
A G1® Stage1™ moulded EVA footbed provides additional cushioning, with extra shock-absorbing pads positioned beneath the heel and forefoot. A glass-fibre shank adds support through the foot while retaining enough flexibility for comfortable walking over longer distances.
The adjustable rear gusset allows the calf width to be altered to suit different leg shapes and clothing layers, helping provide a secure and comfortable fit. A practical heel-kick section also makes the boots easier to remove without having to pull them off by hand.
