Genuine vintage British Army Detachable / Attachable Hood for Combat Smock in good ex-issue condition.

Manufactured in the early 1950s for the British Army. These hoods were designed to be fitted to the 1950 Pattern Combat Dress Smock but can be adapted to fit on any hoodless jacket by adding appropriate buttons around the neck of the jacket. 

All hoods in this listing are a Size 1 / Size Small and sized for individuals with a chest size of 36" and below. The neck of the hood has a circumference of 16.5" when closed and we advise you check against the size of your jacket prior to purchasing.

All hoods are in very good ex-issue condition, especially considering they are around 70 years old. Hoods may have signs of light use and wear, including written names and marks on the inside of the hood; hoods may be creased and dusty from storage but will clean up easily and provide many more years of good service!
