British Army 58 Pattern Sleeping Bag
Genuine British Army issue '58-Pattern' general service sleeping bag in used ex-issue condition - availiable in 'Normal' and 'Long' length options. Classic design featuring reinforced water-resistant base and hood and down-filled insulation.
'Normal' is typically suitable for 165cm to 175cm tall.
'Long' is typically suitable for 175cm to 185cm tall (and broader chests).
Each bag has been checked to ensure there are no large, unmended rips, tears, or holes anywhere on the product and that the condition is definitely servicable for use. However, please note that these sleeping bags are around 50 years old and are used British Army field equipment! Signs of use-related wear and damage may include:
- Identification markings in pen or coloured paint on the inner and outer fabric
- Some very small holes, snags, or cinder burns may be present
- Down filling may have become compressed or moved around inside the quilt and require some 'fluffing-up'
- Rubberised finish on the outer fabric may have signs of peeling or flaking and we can make no guarantees of the original water-repellant properties
- Small components such as pop-fasteners, straps, buckles, and ties, may have damage requiring small repairs
