Swiss Armed Forces Polypropylene Ammunition Box

Genuine Swiss military issue heavy-duty ammo box constructed of lightweight and extremely durable polypropylene (PP) plastic.

The design features a heavy-duty hinged latch system with a rubber seal to create an effective barrier to air and water. Threaded brass rings on the corners of the lid opening allow for military-style braided wire seals or small padlocks to keep the contents of the box safely locked up.

Multiple boxes can be stacked up thanks to the complimentary nesting shape of the bases and lids. 

At 1.4 kg (empty) the box weighs signficantly less than the typical NATO pattern steel .50 Cal ammo tin; as well as being dent-resistant, rust-proof, less heat conductive, and capable of use as an emergency floatation aid. Manufactured in the 2010s for direct issue to the Armed Forces of Switzerland. All plastic ammo boxes in our inventory are unused and undamaged surplus products. Please be aware that boxes may have superficial storage marks and light scrapes / scratches evident on the surface of the plastic due to storage, transit, and handling. No boxes are sold with damaged, broken, or missing parts.
