DESCRIPTION

Bundeswehr Flecktarn Shelter / Poncho

Genuine German Army issue 'Zeltbahn' type shelter, constructed of heavy duty weather resistant canvas. Highly adaptable design which can be configured as a one-man open sided shelter; combined with a second shelter to form a two-man A-frame tent; or worn as a cape, with the shelter's stow bag converted into a cowl.

Condition:

All shelters and hoods are in good used condition with signs of light wear typical of used military equipment.

There may be evidence of small professional repairs to patch small holes or tears in the canvas. No shelters are sold with unmended tears or holes.

Some shelters may have adhesive tape applied to the vent / arm hole parts to seal the openings. Removal of this tape may leave adhesive residue which can be cleaned up with care.

Due to the age of these items and varying extent of use, we reccomend the use of a suitable reproofing product to restore and improve the original water-repellent properties of the canvas.
