Czech Army Knitted Drawers

Vintage Czech Army Long Johns in great wearable ex-issue condition. Perfect for WW2 Reenactment and Historical Costuming; or just to wear around the house as warm and comfortable vintage clothing that was built to last!

Sizing:

All Czech Long Johns available in this listing are manufactured with the same waist circumference (Up to 40" Waist) and feature draw strings to adjust the waist size. The long johns come in a variety of different lengths ranging from 27" Inside Leg to 34" Inside Leg which we have grouped into 'Short' and 'Long' lengths for simplicity.

Short = 27" to 30" Inseam

Long = 31" to 34" Inseam

Condition:

Manufactured in the 1940s and 1950s for the Czechoslovakian Army, these cream-coloured knitted Long Johns and are in good condition for their age with signs of wear typical for used military clothing. Drawers may have light marks or discolouration, in addition to small holes or snags in the knitted fabric. Items may be dusty and creased from over 60 years in storage and would benefit from a good wash! All items are in good wearable condition with plenty of life left in them!

Due to the surplus nature of the item, the style of Long Johns you receive may vary. The two different styles (one with a waistband opening and one without a waistband opening) can be seen in our listing photographs. The fibre content is unknown but is likely cotton or a cotton / wool blend.

Postage

Items sent with free delivery are usually sent with Royal Mail 48. This usually takes 2-3 working days to arrive but sometimes it may be slightly quicker or slightly longer. In some instances we may need to send items with Hermes which can take 3 to 5 working days to arrive. The delivery times given by eBay are 'estimates' and although we post items on time we don't control the speed of delivery.

If you need your item sooner you can upgrade delivery at checkout to either Royal Mail 24 (1-2 working days) or DPD (next day).

Express delivery with DPD is available to most UK mainland postcodes. Orders placed before 12 noon will arrive the next working day (subject to stock availability and demand). Orders placed after 12 noon on Thursday will arrive Monday. Orders placed Friday to Sunday will arrive on Tuesday. In some remote areas of Scotland this may be a two-day service. DPD do not usually delivery on a Saturday or Sunday.

We are unable to provide a next day delivery service to some postcodes in the following areas: Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands, Isle of White, Channel Islands, Isle of Man. If you live in an excluded zone and select DPD shipping, we will make the decision to send the item the fastest way that we can within the price you have paid, but in most instances this will not arrive Next Day. If in doubt please contact us with your delivery postcode.

Heavy or bulky consignments may be sent with a courier, if you live in a remote area this may take longer to arrive.
