German Army M59 Aluminium Mess Tin & Water Bottle Set

Highly collectible and increasingly rare German Army M-59 Pattern 3-Piece Mess Tin and Canteen sets in good used condition.

Manufactured around the 1960 to 1970 period for the armed forces of West Germany. These robust aluminium canteens are perfect for walking and outdoor sports. The sets consist of three parts; an aluminium water bottle, and two aluminium cups or dishes that can be used as eating or drinking vessels. Each set is complete with original webbing straps, with an aluminium clip to fasten onto bags and belts.

All sets are in good used condition with no rust, corrosion or damage. All components are present with no broken or damaged parts. Canteen sets may show signs of wear typical for used military field equipment; most bottles and cups have scratches and scuffs on the paintwork, and may have small dents which do not effect the functionality of the 3-Piece set.
