British Army Heavy Jersey
Genuine British Army '68 Pattern' Man's Heavy Jerseys in good used condition in a wide range of sizes.
This style of British Army combat jumper was manufactured between the years 1968 to 1987. These jumpers are the successor to the style of issued Commando jumper developed by the British Army in the Second World War.
These early combat jumpers are becoming increasingly hard to find in good condition and popular sizes, grab them while they last!
SIZING:
All jumpers sold in this listing have their original size label attached to verify their manufactured size. As these jumpers were manufactured before 1987, the chest sizes are marked Size 0 to Size 6 according to the old British Army clothing system. We have added approximate chest sizes of these jumpers based on the present-day sizing of British Army clothing, however these approximate sizes are intended as a rough guide and should not be considered exact.
CONDITION:
All jumpers have been individually inspected to confirm their condition and guarantee that the jumper you receive will be in good serviceable condition and suitable for use. All jumpers sold in this listing are in good condition for their age, considering that they are original military knitwear that's up to 50 years old!
Jumpers may have small holes or snags in the knitted fabric, which may be mended with care. Jumpers may also have patches of loose or worn stitching and slight fading due to age.
SHRINKAGE:
Some of these jumpers appear to have been shrunk very slightly from their original size due to the typical effect of washing and drying on woollen garments; jumpers with shrinkage should stretch to fit the chest size marked on the jumper's label but may be tight-fitting.
