1990s Gabardine DPM Combat Smock (DPM12)
Unusual, but genuine British Army issue DPM Woodland Camouflage combat smock in good used condition.
This is believed to be a 'Trials', or prototype garment but has been difficult to accurately identify. The CG8415 contract number on the label suggests the item was manufactured in the early 1990s; before the official introduction of the 95 Pattern Windproof Combat Smock. The heavyweight fabric is similar to some examples of French, Belgian, and Dutch army uniforms produced by Seyntex in the 1990s. The shape of the 'Canadian' slotted buttons on the jacket are similar to examples found on Trials Pattern DPM waterproof parkas in the 1990s.
