Italian Army Canvas Gaiters

Italian Army canvas gaiters in unused, deadstock condition with storage marks and wear.

Manufactured around the 1970 to 1980 period for the Italian Army. Pairs with stamped manufacture dates feature dates ranging from the early 1960s to the late 1980s. These simple canvas gaiters are designed to be worn over the top of traditional combat boots and serve to prevent stones from getting into boots while preserving the cuffs of the wearer's trousers from muddy terrain. Gaiter sizes may vary slightly and all pairs have a degree of adjustment in the lacing and straps. You will receive one pair (left and right gaiter) per quantity ordered.

Sizing

The majority of these pairs are stamped as Size 2; which is understood to be the average men's size (Approximately Shoe Size 7 to 9 UK).

Condition

Please be aware that although these gaiters have never been used; and have no damage or wear caused by use - the gaiters have storage marks, fading, deterioration to the fabric, and missing or damaged metal components caused by their 40+ years in storage. Some gaiters may be missing a small number or metal hooks, loops, or eyelets, which may have fallen off in storage and transit. Faux-leather material on the gaiters may be dry, brittle, and prone to cracking when handled.
