Norwegian Army Emergency Rain Poncho

New and unused, genuine Norwegian Army emergency poncho in factory-sealed compact pouch.

Manufactured around the 1995 to 2005 period for the Norwegian army. A Norwegian emergency poncho is a simple and practical waterproof sheet with an inbuilt hood that can be quickly accessed and used to keep you and your equipment dry in the event of a sudden and unexpected downpour. All ponchos in this listing are sold factory-sealed by the manufacturer in their original 'pocket-sized' pouch; as a consequence, the poncho you receive may vary slightly from the stock photographs used; some batches of Norwegian ponchos feature an adjustable drawstring around hood, while others have no drawstring like in the stock photograph; we believe that all of our sealed ponchos are the plain style (without a drawstring) but it is unfortunately not possible to know which style you have until the poncho is opened and removed from its sealed packaging! All ponchos are the same size regardless of variety.

The full, unfolded size of the ponchos measure approximately 58" Wide, and 92" Long (46" Long when folded in half at the hood).

Ponchos are constructed of a light-weight waterproof material that is quite thin and allows the poncho to be folded up into a small parcel for carrying; with careful use, the poncho can withstand between 10 to 20 uses before requiring replacement. However, care should be taken to avoid branches, rocks and sharp edges which might cause the thin waterproof material to tear.
