      British Army C374 (Long H50) Ammo Tin

      Genuine British Army C374 Ammunition Container in good ex-issue condition. One tin weighs approximately 9.9 KG.

      Manufactured from the late 1940s to the 1980s for the British Army. These sturdy and practical steel boxes are in good ex-issue condition with wear typical of used military equipment. These ammo boxes feature hinged opening lid and two hinged carrying handles.

      The majority of C374 Boxes in our inventory are dated to the 1950s and 1960s, most boxes are marked as 'MK1' type boxes but some may have different markings, or no markings at all - all tins are identical in size, shape, material, and function; regardless of manufacture date or type.

      Approximate EXTERNAL Dimensions:

      Length = 65cm

      Width = 35cm

      Height = 20cm

      Approximate INTERNAL Dimensions:

      Length = 60cm

      Width = 33cm

      Height = 18cm

      Condition:

      All ammo tins are in serviceable ex-issue used condition and may have coloured paint, marks, and writing; as tins have been stored outdoors, tins may have slight rust and bubbling paint on the exterior surface (which would clean up well with WD40 and an old rag!) Most tins will be dusty from storage. Please view the product photos to see examples of the typical condition these tins are in.
