DESCRIPTION

Two Sets of British Military Issue Pyjamas (GH01)

Incredibly scarce, genuine British Army / Royal Air Force pyjamas. This listing comprises of two shirts and two trousers in the same matching size. Issued to an RAF Airman in 1953; there is no discernible label or date found on any garment but identical pyjama suits were manufactured and issued throughout the 1940s and 1950s. Very few items like these have survived to present day.

Designed for an individual with 36" Chest Circumference, 5'8" Tall.

Condition:

All items are in generally good used condition with signs of wear typical of used military clothing. Some original buttons have been lost and replaced with mismatched styles. There is some evidence of other contemporary repairs and stitching to mend or reinforce damaged parts. Due to the age of these garments (over 70 years old) there may be marks and discolouration on the fabric surface which may or may not disappear with careful cleaning.
